Around 80% of my work is holiday rental photography. It's not a sideline, it's what I do every day. I've shot hundreds of Airbnb listings, holiday cottages, glamping sites, serviced apartments, and boutique B&Bs across Somerset, Bristol, Bath, the Cotswolds, and beyond.
That volume of experience matters. I know which compositions drive bookings because I've seen the results. I know that a bedroom shot from the pillow perspective outperforms one from the doorway, that guests scroll past the front elevation and stop on the fire pit at dusk, that a styled kitchen detail converts better than a wide-angle overview. That knowledge comes from doing this work day after day, property after property.
I've also written the book on it. Stay Booked covers everything from listing optimisation and photography strategy to pricing and guest experience. When you book a shoot with me, you're getting that knowledge applied to your property, not just a set of technically competent images from someone who usually shoots weddings or headshots.
Most of my Airbnb clients see a noticeable jump in bookings within the first month. One host in Glastonbury told me her occupancy went from 60% to 92% after updating her photos, and she raised her nightly rate by £15 at the same time. That's the kind of return that makes this work genuinely rewarding.
