Who You're Booking

A quick hello before we talk about drones

I'm Matthew, a CAA-licensed drone pilot and property photographer, and this whole business is just me. No sales team, no subcontractors, just a dad from the South West who genuinely loves seeing a property from a hundred feet up.

Because I fly the drone and shoot the ground-level photos myself on the same visit, you get one person who understands how the aerial shots and interiors need to work together to sell the property.

More Than Property

What I Photograph from the Air

My drone work extends well beyond residential property. From logistics centres and shipping ports to equestrian facilities and rural estates, I provide professional aerial imagery for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients.

Property & Estate Photography

Showcase the full extent of a property, its grounds, and surrounding area. Ideal for estate agent listings, holiday lets, and high-value homes where ground-level photos don't tell the whole story.

New Build & Development Sites

Document construction progress, capture completed show homes from above, and create marketing imagery for off-plan sales. I work with developers across the UK on projects of all sizes.

Commercial & Industrial

Warehouses, logistics centres, retail parks, and industrial estates. Aerial imagery that shows scale, access routes, and surrounding infrastructure, essential for commercial property marketing and planning. See my dedicated commercial drone photography service for full details.

Hospitality & Leisure

Hotels, holiday parks, equestrian centres, golf courses, and wedding venues. Drone photography captures the full scope of your facilities in a way that ground-level shots simply can't.

Land & Agriculture

Farmland, development plots, and rural estates. Aerial photography is invaluable for land agents, farmers, and planners who need to show boundaries, access, and the relationship between parcels.

Corporate & Events

Company headquarters, campus sites, conferences, and outdoor events. Aerial imagery adds a premium, professional dimension to corporate marketing and PR materials.

Inspection Work

Drone surveys & inspection imagery

Not every aerial job is marketing. A good deal of my drone work is inspection and record keeping: close, sharp stills of roofs, chimneys, gutters and solar arrays, elevation imagery of tall or awkward buildings, repeat progress visits on construction sites, and overhead views of plots and boundaries. I also capture full 3D models of buildings and sites using Gaussian splatting and photogrammetry.

To be straight about it, I am a CAA-licensed drone photographer rather than a chartered surveyor, so what I hand over is imagery and 3D capture rather than a survey report. Plenty of surveyors, architects, builders and roofers use me for exactly that: I capture it, they interpret it. If that is the half of the job you need, here is the detail on drone survey imagery.

Included with Photography

4K Resolution

Shot in high resolution for maximum flexibility. Images work equally well on property portals, printed brochures, and large-format displays.

Nationwide Coverage

How It Works

From initial brief to delivered images in three straightforward steps.

01

Brief & Planning

I discuss what you need, the location, and any specific shots. I check airspace restrictions and obtain any necessary permissions from the CAA or landowner.

02

The Shoot

I fly my DJI drone on-site, capturing a range of angles, heights, and compositions. A typical property shoot takes 15–30 minutes; commercial sites may take longer depending on scope.

03

Editing & Delivery

All images are professionally edited for colour, exposure, and composition. You receive high-resolution files within 48 hours, ready for web, print, or marketing use.

Beyond Property

Commercial & Industrial Drone Photography

While property photography is at the heart of what I do, my drone work extends into a wide range of commercial and industrial sectors. I've photographed logistics centres, shipping ports, equestrian facilities, holiday parks, and agricultural land, anywhere that benefits from a bird's-eye perspective.

Commercial aerial photography is invaluable for marketing materials, planning applications, progress documentation, and corporate communications. The perspective a drone provides simply can't be replicated from the ground.

Whether you need a single aerial shot for a brochure or a comprehensive set of images covering a large site, I'll plan the flight to capture exactly what you need.

From Matthew

CAA Licensed Drone Pilot

I started flying drones commercially about five years ago, and it's become one of the most versatile tools in my kit. For property work, an aerial shot can transform a listing, it shows the garden, the parking, the neighbourhood, and the surrounding countryside in a way that no ground-level photo can match.

But what's surprised me is how much demand there is outside of property. I've photographed shipping ports, logistics warehouses, equestrian centres, and rural estates. Commercial clients need aerial imagery for marketing, planning applications, insurance documentation, and corporate communications. The drone gives them a perspective that would otherwise require a helicopter or a cherry picker.

Every flight is planned carefully. I check airspace, weather, and any local restrictions before I arrive. Safety is non-negotiable, I'm fully CAA licensed and insured, and I take the regulations seriously. If conditions aren't right on the day, I'll come back rather than compromise on safety or quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about drone and aerial photography.

Yes. All commercial drone operators in the UK must hold a valid CAA Flyer ID and Operator ID. I'm fully licensed and insured, and I plan every flight in advance to comply with current UK drone regulations. For certain locations (near airports, in restricted airspace, or over congested areas), additional permissions may be required, I handle all of this as part of the service.

I fly a DJI Mini 5 Pro, which features a 1-inch CMOS sensor. It captures incredibly detailed, colour-accurate images even in challenging light, and at under 249g it falls below the threshold for additional CAA registration requirements. The drone also has multiple focal lengths, allowing me to shoot wide establishing shots and tighter detail shots from the same flight.

Yes, drone photography is included at no extra cost on any property where aerials add something, across all my property photography packages at no extra cost. If the weather or location doesn't permit a safe flight on the day, I'll arrange a return visit at no charge. Standalone drone-only shoots are also available for commercial and non-property work.

Drones can't fly safely in heavy rain, strong winds (above 25mph), or very low cloud. If conditions aren't suitable on the day of your shoot, I'll complete the interior and exterior ground-level photography and return for the aerial shots on the next suitable day at no extra cost.

Yes, with the correct permissions and planning. My drone qualifies for flights in most urban and suburban environments under current UK regulations. For flights directly over crowds or in restricted zones, I obtain specific CAA authorisation in advance.

UK regulations permit drone flights up to 120 metres (400 feet) above ground level. In practice, the best property and commercial aerial shots are typically captured between 20 and 80 metres, depending on the subject and surrounding landscape.

Yes. I can capture 4K aerial video alongside still photography. Drone video works particularly well for property marketing films, development progress reels, and corporate content. Let me know what you need when you get in touch.

I'm based in the South West, Somerset, and cover the whole of Somerset, Bristol, Bath, and surrounding areas as standard. For commercial clients, developers, and larger projects, I travel nationwide. Travel is included in your quote, agreed upfront.
