The on-site measurement typically takes 15–30 minutes depending on the property size. I use professional laser measuring equipment for accuracy. The finished floor plan is delivered within 48 hours, or 24 hours with the express option.

Can I add a floor plan to my photography booking?

Absolutely — and it's the most cost-effective way to get one. When booked alongside photography, floor plans are £75 (saving £24 vs the standalone price). I'll measure the property during the same visit, so there's no additional disruption for the vendor.

What format will I receive the floor plan in?

You'll receive the floor plan in multiple formats: high-resolution JPEG and PNG for property portals and websites, plus a PDF version for print. All formats meet the upload requirements for Rightmove, Zoopla, and OnTheMarket.

Do floor plans include room dimensions?

Yes — every room is labelled with its name and precise dimensions in both metric and imperial. The total gross internal floor area is also included, which is now a requirement for many property portal listings.

Can you create floor plans for commercial properties?

Yes, I create floor plans for commercial properties, offices, retail units, and HMOs. Commercial plans may require additional time on-site, so get in touch for a bespoke quote based on the property size and complexity.

Do you offer 3D floor plans?

I currently specialise in professional 2D floor plans, which are the standard format used by property portals and estate agents. For a 3D perspective of the property, I'd recommend pairing a 2D floor plan with a Matterport 3D virtual tour, which gives buyers an immersive walkthrough experience.
