Why the day focuses on no-flash HDR
Flash can produce excellent results, but it adds equipment, setup time and more technical decisions to every room. For staff who also have measurements, floor plans and vendor conversations to manage, a careful tripod-based HDR process is easier to standardise across a branch.
The aim is not to create an artificial HDR look. I teach controlled exposure brackets, stable framing and a natural editing target, with straight verticals, sensible window detail and colour that reflects the home.
